Joshua Gippin – writer, director, producer, editor
Mr. Gippin received his BA in cultural anthropology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and went on to get his MA from the State University of New York at Albany. He produced his first documentary, entitled The Raised Machete: Farmworker Voices from Ecuador, as part of his master’s project. His second video project was a motion portrait, entitled The Grizzled Wizard of Waste Not Want Not.


Shane Wynn – DP, videographer, still photographer, co-producer
Ms. Wynn received her BFA in photography from the University of Akron and has since produced an impressive portfolio of art photography and photojournalism. She worked closely with Mr. Gippin on both of his prior documentaries. (Incidentally, Josh and Shane are married.)


Chris Edwards – composer
Mr. Edwards began writing original music for film and video in the 90s. Among his projects, he scored music for the features "Will Work For Food" and "The Grizzled Wizard." Listen to his music at

In addition to his array of corporate clients, Mr. West takes time out to create graphic designs for Joshua Tree Productions and Shane Wynn Studio.

Mr. Giralt is a professor of film & video production at the University of Akron’s School of Communication. His films and video works have been screened at numerous national and international film festivals.

Robert Liebelt, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Liebelt is Medical Director Emeritus of Ignatia Hall Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program at St. Thomas Hospital in Akron, OH, Chief of Addiction Medicine at the Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Board (ADM Board) of Summit County, and Dean Emeritus of Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM).

Victoria Sanelli, M.D.
Dr. Sanelli is Director of Ignatia Hall at St. Thomas Hospital. She is also a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at NEOUCOM, and a psychiatric consultant at both the Interval Brotherhood Home and the Ohio Department of Youth Services/Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility.

Dave Lieberth
Mr. Lieberth is currently Deputy Mayor of Administration and Chief of Staff for Akron Mayor Don Plusquellic. Formerly a broadcaster and journalist, Mr. Lieberth has won prestigious national awards and served on the national board of the Society of Professional Journalists.
